Life Shadows
We're told
a rose by any other name
is still a rose (in so many words)
I tell
Light without shadows
would be life without light,
Possibility implies
our minds
remain entangled with our heart
to become our soul.

Rose - Thank you, and you are quite welcome!
I really, really like this poem, my favorite stanza being "I tell/
Light without shadows/
would be life without light,"
wonderful piece. Rose is one lucky woman to receive such a gift!!
Thank you for stopping by my page, as well!!
L. Monique - My favorite stanza, too, it is the poem's heart, the line that came first. Thank you for commenting on it.
Thanks Marcia, this has really made her feel good about herself. She gets into funks sometimes.
Brian, glad it made her feel good; we ALL get in funks, that is a reality of life. Been there, will be there again, sooner than later. Thanks for telling me, too.
