yes, today's
gift of April snow
(and hearts together
continue to glow)

yesterday's
gift of weather clear
(and good friends smiling,
not a stranger's leer)

tomorrow's
promise of wonder
(and flashes of awe
between the thunder)

Just a glimpse
of a sample life
(devoid of detail
to apply to all)

Snow? No thank you. I know, it's a gift, but you can keep it. :)

I like how you put thoughts in parentheses.

Brian, I would gladly and selfishly have kept it for me, but the sun had other ideass, replacing my snow with its own brightness, blue skies, and white clouds and the slightest of breezes and I will content myself with that, I bet you would, too.

Parenthesis, I'm NOT the ONLY one who likes it? YES!
