I have no clue where that came from. . . the recesses of my mind, I suppose, but the following is just plain old fact - for me, anyway.

I despise

convenience
is a word
I dislike

I guess it is
just the sound of them
but it could be
their definitions

or it could be
their extended realities,

but for the moment
it is inconvenient
to think it all out.

You could do it for me
if it is convenient,

I suppose.

Three Word Wednesday - although a day late

hopefully, not a dollar short. I have thought about participating in this for months, but originally envisioned writing a story around the words, a long story. Shelby writes just a sentence and I always love reading them, so, since I am trying to learn to say more in less, I've decided this is the perfect challenge to do between Haiku and Poetry Thursday. I may post a poem, a thought, or an un-poetic mess .

gain -- oblivious -- jewelry

He tried to gain
entrance to her heart
through jewelry, but found
she was oblivious to bling
and sought only a man's soul.
